Plugin for Unique AI-Generated Faces

Hunter's comment

It's a tiny 229 KB plugin that does one very cool and helpful thing. One thing everybody should hate is taking care of placeholders. We have Lorem Ipsum for text. But what about faces? Now we have that covered too.

Those are the kind of placeholder AI generated faces you are going to get. Hope I made your days easier and allow you to focus on better things. None of these people exist. So you are not going to be infringing on anyone's privacy.

It's the face of human who doesn't exist in a world created by AI. AI in the field of graphics has also made a lot of progress and I'm surprised because this plug-in's face creates the illusion of someone's picture. It would be a better technique if we could input the characteristics of a person, such as a particular race, gender, age, and so on. Thank you for letting me know about good AI applications.

CONGRATULATIONS...!

No doubt, it is an excellent hunt today. I hope this I generated face will enrich our website.
Is the tools is free or paid?? @vimukthi

In this modern world of technology,
Copyright is something that is very serious for us. Using a face that doesn’t exist is an ultimate solution. AI technology is going to the moon. Keep up good work.

Oh man! I knew this site existed, as I've had lots of fun reloading the page to see what kind of faces it can make, but I had no clue someone made a plugin to utilize it! That's truly amazing! This would make building sample sites, blogs, profiles, and whatnot so much easier, as you wouldn't have to worry about copyright issues in showing them, as they don't exist. I also imagine these images could serve well as references for artists trying to draw humans, as there would be no worry of issues about tracing. The biggest issue is that rarely the site loads some... eclectic looking faces, but those are quite rare in comparison and one only needs to refresh to solve this issue.

It's an interesting tool. I wonder how it could guarantee that the face it creates doesn't really exist? I am just concerned that it could be abused by some people to create fake profiles that could be used for anything from catfishing to an actual con. Although, now that I think about it, I guess it's better that those people use a non-existent face than steal a real person's picture. Lol! I think I just had a conversation with myself there. It's a cool find, nonetheless.

I wonder how it could guarantee that the face it creates doesn't really exist?

There is no such guarantee. It's basically a case of Infinite monkey theorem which basically states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare. It's just the probability of that happening is very low.

Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.

What? Those are AI-generated faces? The samples alone look so real. This will be a very good tool for marketers and even bloggers to generate faces for their marketing tool or sites without the hassle of personal release contracts. I just hope it won't generate something that is really close to a real human's face. 😊

Hm sounds very interesting plugin, but I'm not sure if this is much different to the built-in data library in Sketch as below:

Oh never mind. It uses faker tech to build the face. Haha sounds brilliant :)

Those faces are so real, it's hard to believe they don't exist in real life.
This tool can really help online marketing sector. They can create any AI generated face and use it on their add. But I am not sure if there is any copyright issue. Maybe not, as those faces are not real, so every time it will generate a different face.
Great hunt!

Wow, that's so crazy. I wonder how much more crazy things can get.

Hopefully we'd see a post-extropianist world

Extropianism, also referred to as the philosophy of Extropy, is an "evolving framework of values and standards for continuously improving the human condition".[1] Extropians believe that advances in science and technology will some day let people live indefinitely. An extropian may wish to contribute to this goal, e.g. by doing research and development or by volunteering to test new technology.

Originated by a set of principles developed by the philosopher Max More, The Principles of Extropy,[2] extropian thinking places strong emphasis on rational thinking and on practical optimism. According to More, these principles "do not specify particular beliefs, technologies, or policies". Extropians share an optimistic view of the future, expecting considerable advances in computational power, life extension, nanotechnology and the like. Many[quantify] extropians foresee the eventual realization of indefinite lifespans, and the recovery, thanks to future advances in biomedical technology or mind uploading, of those whose bodies/brains have been preserved by means of cryonics

For our current world a dystopia would be Mad Max or 1984. For a comparison here is a post-extropianist dystopia

Need this. Yea kinda exciting to see all of this new "future" technology from movies starting to actually happen.
