That's the beauty of decentralization, though.
Come to think of it, if S-E is charging 20 ENG for running an airdrop, they must actually want to encourage people run their own scripts for that. The more tokens get distributed the more legitimacy and utility is created for S-E itself. That fee is probably functioning mainly as a small inhibitor to reduce the amount of crap-tokens being pushed out by anybody else and their grandmas?!
