Hi @sanmi, This is a great initiative by the govt of India. I strongly believe that a lot of people are going to use this platform. Though there are already plethora of free information available online on almost any topic but you know what the real problem is and what keeps the new users in any field take the right action is they lose their path in this too much info jungle. There is too much info on almost all the topics but no one tells you where to start from. Unfortunately, many of us need that spoon feeding to get started on something and this is exactly what platforms like SWAYAM do. Your suggestion about launching this platform on Steem blockchain is good one and may be you should come forward and take the initiative in this regard.
