Do you know @superoo7? He is a dedicated steemian programmer that helped communities to their bots and other stuff.

Anyway, as I am visiting to his profile, I have seen their Smart Aquarium that is a combination of an IoT and an aquarium built to be more smarter than a normal one.

Basically, it is a

tropical freshwater fish aquarium system targeted household fish lover equipped with sustainable filtration and water flow system integrated with smart system to monitoring water quality.

Features:

  • You will be able to monitor the system or the aquarium through your smart phones, anywhere you are
  • You can also feed the fish automatically
  • There is also a system filtration to automatically clean the aquarium as soon as it needs to be cleaned.

Take a glimpse of their Youtube video here.

Congratulations! You made it to the top list! Enjoy hunting :D

Thanks bro! You are so great!

this hunt really deserves a 100% upvote! Super Awesome hunt! Thanks for this @truthsfinder i must buy this one LOL, if i have some extra money. Haha

Useless application of IoT technology, I'd say!

All aquariums that capture live fishes as prisoners for the sake of decoration is against the values of humanity.

I'd rather appreciate the use of technology to create better virtual aquariums that can replace these live fish aquariums.
Yes, that would be a real SMART thing to do!

For starter, the project was being delegated by the university in order to showcase the student that they can build something that solves the world's engineer problem (water sanitation and water quality). The smart aquarium is a good starter, since it is small and manageable, in order to observe how water changes with time. The project did not go into production tho, it's just for the sake of building a working prototype.

Well, it's good if this product didn't go into production. But I'm against involving any animal in any kind of experimentation. Can't that can be achieved without involving fishes?

Thanks for your insight anyway!

@truthsfinder ... I agree with @xyzashu, we shouldn't make fish & birds prisoners.
@xyzashu ... It is also cruelty to free the birds who born in the cages and fish born in the aquariums ... they don't know how to fight and/or save themselves from the predators ... Don't you think this system is a better option for those fish.

Dear @mobi72, I totally agree with you that it's difficult for a bird, fish or any animal to survive in wild when freed from captivity. So I ain't advocating to first captivate them and then free them. I'm questioning the culture of captivating them in the first place.

I certainly don't feel that this system is a better option.

Even if you're imprisoned in a 5 star comfort, you're still a prisoner. And apart from making fishes captive and a lifetime slave, do also go through my following post to learn what else do they go through:

@xyzashu, I am hundred percent standing by your side regarding this issue.

I mentioned the birds/fish born in cages/aquariums ... a little bit different scenario.

Not right now but I am definitely gonna read your post.

Good Day.

It’s better to that way than to kill those fishes and eat them. Lol. Anyway, if you are a fish lover, you would really say, that’s awesome. As for you to know also, there are a lot of types of fishes wherein others are good to be a pet, others are some those in the oceans. Also, please take a look at the details of how the aquarium works.

Well @truthfinder, I guess, we first need to understand the definition of LOVE to start with.
To my knowledge, no fish is good to be a pet. If you know how aquarium works and what fishes go through to be kept as a pet in an aquarium, do elaborate.

You may also like to go through my last year's post where I posted some details about the aquarium industry:

Sorry for a delayed reply on it!

I am sure that using iot technology can reduce the death of fish in an aquarium. with this advanced technology, we can monitor the fish, the water in the tank, as well as feeding the fish. We can do that with our mobile.

It is amazing hunt!

If you want to make a nice tank at home, it would be good to use the product. I think I can assemble it simply and produce it with the design I want. It would be very, very interesting.

it's beautiful and really smart indeed. ease to use and more advanced compared to others. thumbs up

excellent, this one keeps in touch with our pet fishes even we are in a distance, we can take care, view and feed them. nice hunt.

Amazing aquarium, besides the design that is very cool, it is more useful than conventional aquariums with lots of smart features, maintaining an aquarium in precise way is a problem and this product solve this. Great Hunt

I want it in aquaponic system! So cool idea, and pro stuff!
Maybe in bigger size, we can use it for food-producting too!
Thanks for sharing it! An big thanks for Superoo7!
