Loom.ai is a pretty neat software to transform your selfies into 3D model avatars. The avatars can be customize with accesoires, hairstyles and outfits as well.
The Homepage is kept pretty simple, with a few explanations about the features of the software. You can try the demo directly from the site and start your first avatars and you can even take a video of your avatar. Unfortunately there is no public download of the software available for the moment. It also mentions that this software is partnered with Samsung AR Emoji collection, so maybe they still need to finish things up.

Am amazed by this friend, as a lady I love taking selfies and I don’t think a day goes by without me taking one. It will be a good thing to make the most out of those selfies by using this app to convert them and also play around different features

Turning photos into 3D avatars is definitely fun. We can make other people were surprised with an avatar that is very similar to our face.
This technology can be used for commercials such as the gaming industry or virtual games. I tried to register, but I had to wait in the waiting list.

This is one tool that almost everybody will find interesting. The 3D pictures look like the real picture which makes this tool a good one. I can only imagine the work the designer put in place to make this a reality. VR game developers should find this helpful because i am wowed!

This is a pretty impressive tool! With a little extra development, we are able to create fake news videos in which we can let anybody we want to say and do whatever we like them to do :)
