wow, this thing is incredible, before you make any judgement about it take a look at the video, i'm sure you will see what makes this craft truly well thought out and designed, just look at the way this thing moves -- i can totally see this being one of the flying machines that makes it and is refined year on year.
imagine just for a moment living somewhere in the countryside and being able to fly down the mountain side in this thing, hugging the mountain as you went to go and fetch supplies, imagine at night time just hovering in this thing over the water of a lake, omg, just such an incredible feeling it would be..
Opener's BlackFly heralds a new era of aviation. Time and money spent traveling and maintaining infrastructure will be reduced. People will go places they never thought possible
i really love the design of this, especially the way it uses the VTOL tech of moving the power to where it's needed to hover, move forward etc and the shape of the bottom of it like that, looks like you could even land on water -- incredible.
they have already completed 12,000+ miles flown and done 1,400+ flights in this thing so it's getting there in terms of testing, i certainly would want to know i'm fairly safe in that seated position, i'd have my kitted out with screens and cameras in there -- imagine with run quiet blades on it ;)

Frankly, I'm stumped that this cool personal VTOL craft has not seen light in the mainstream media yet! Not even featured in WIRED! This takes personal mobility and freedom several notches up. PSA: At this early stage, pilots should be wearing protective gear - helmet, safety goggles & abrasion resistant clothes. Does it come with an ejector seat + parachute?
