so just hear me out here because while it's not geeky it's important you know why i think this is a cool product and why i think this is PERFECT for the vandweller that wants to make a bunch of coffees while working from the road.

Makita Corporation (TYO: 6586) is a Japanese manufacturer of power tools. Founded on March 21, 1915, it is based in Anjō, Japan, and operates factories in Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, Romania, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.

you see my dad had these power tools when i was a kid and he loved them, they never went wrong and the build quality was awesome, same for @dayleeo dad, he's got a bunch where the batteries never died on him.

and that's the great thing, if you own any of the portable power tools then you already have the portable power packs you need to power it and THAT is what i love about this -- build the products around the KIT you already have, multi purpose, battery of that drill and make some coffee on site, or from the back of your co-working van somewhere in Portugal! :)

this lithium-ion battery-operated, portable coffee machine will set you back around $200 if you can find one, seems to be just appearing on the Japanese market :)
