oh this is fricking sweet... finally a decent search engine for steem. i expect we will see a lot of great things coming out of steemfest 3 today, this one of them -- it's SUPER FAST ;)
It is powered by Elasticsearch which is specifically designed for search engines. Hivemind uses PostgreSQL as a database core and from our preliminary research, we found that search using PostgreSQL would require strong hardware setup to index all content. But with Elasticsearch you could manage/index really fast search engine for entire blockchain.
the fact that it's been made open source as well means that it's only gonna get better, onwards and upwards for this blockchain!

I must say the search provided by this search engine is blazingly fast. I have found the default search at steemit.com to be a bit slow, but this one for sure is super fast.
Will be my first preference moving forward while searching on steem. Thanks for hunting this.

Yeah, finally a good search tool for Steem Blockchain. Somehow the old version never really put out any good search results. I hope this one is better. Thanks for sharing good Hunt!

A perfect search engine was of utmost importance for data intensive blogging platform like Steem.
Its about time that a decent search function was available for STEEM. This will be a vast improvement onthe existing option's which were significantly lacking. Have fun at Steemfest, Nice Hunt.
This is a great hunt. One of the most useful tool in the ecosystem. I just hope this will help me find some of my older post. LOL.
Steem is a great community for providing great services, dtube, dlive, steemit, steepshot probably one thing is missing which is search engine. esteem fulfill this gap. Great hunt.
