Building out Block-Review.com MVP — putting together a world wide network of tech advocate for the upcoming reviewhunt!

with reviewhunt from @steemhunt just around the corner it makes sense to start to reach out and find media makers and tech reviews on existing platforms and onboard them to steem and indirectly to steemhunt and reviewhunt when it launches.. .

You know when inspiration strikes and you have to just jump in and get it done, that’s how it felt today when I was thinking about what might happen when reviewhunt is launched (http://token.steemhunt.com) i’ve been looking forward to that and I think a beta is just around the corner.

My background as a brand advocate means that I understand a little bit about how the relationship normally goes down between brand, agency and the end advocate — the issues, the problems and where things can be more efficient and managed.

It’s obvious to me that we are moving into the era of the decentralised brand advocate — one that works for crypto, tokens and smart contracts.

With review hunt around the corner and my own desire to build out something for review hunt it made more sense to build a central point of contact to add media makers who were already into crypto or wanted to be into crypto (via steem) to have one ‘port of call’

At the moment the website is very simple, a simple form to collect email address and interest and the teleport sundial setup at the top so we can see where all the decentralised media making advocates are in the world.

my intentions for this small MVP are as follows.

• onboard tech reviewers who are interested in crypto and tokens and get them setup on the steem blockchain with an account.
• pull together a large batch of tech reviewers so that we have a good amount of ‘video makers’ before review hunt starts
• reach out to agencies and to other you tubers who do reviews to see if they are interested potentially in review hunt when it launches.

Obviously it’s a bit rough and ready with the copy and the graphics and I need to do some work to tidy that up but I wanted to make a start on it. Ultimately I’d love for block-review to be a gateway/tender zone between agencies and block booking reviewers for a product, obviously we want to focus on review hunt to start but we could extend it out to the @vlogging MVP as a ‘channel’ for tech reviewers.
