This shows what happens with technology. Someone comes up with an idea and someone else adds to it.
The idea of having a saving off Steem Engine fees is only going to make the platform better.
SE still have an advantage of instant payouts plus the liquidity. This is something that most people want. But for those willing to wait, especially for a large amount of STEEM, one can use this service.

thanks for your comment. (I'm the creator of steemfinex) @steemfinex doesn't necessarily mean waiting. For instance, if there is STEEM balance (~1500 as of now), you can get STEEM immediately (of course here immediately means usually less than 1 min :) if you deposit STEEMP. Try it if you want :)
and waiting means lower fee. so far most big deposits had ended up with ~0.1% or so. So if you're not hurry and there is no balance you want, that means an opportunity for a lower fee :)
