This Flying fox is a lightweight flying object can move semi-autonomously in a defined space. Festo , creator of Bionic flying fox , studied the characteristics of flying fox and decided to design one. They created the similar wing structures with the real one. They also succeeded to simulate the flying membrane with real flying fox. It flies in defined space so that it can communicate with motion tracking system. It consists of camera that computes data and evaluates to set the path for the Flying fox.

Taking nature as a role model is always a perfect idea. No matter what nature is perfect to its fullest. Drones as an example or some animals which can heal themselves really fast, it's truly amazing.

This product takes the concept of flying drones but it's kinda unique with the fox-like design. Drone lovers like myself would definitely love to fly this cool stuff.
I just saw a product like this, designed pretty well, can fly automatically, this product is similar to a drone, but it's very comfortable
Festro just built the what crime fighting agencies can use for covert operation. This looks like a bird when you look at it from afar.
Drones are now boring and everywhere. This is a game changer and it looks more natural and can pass unnoticed.

Festo is really well known for their different kind of trials of robotic flying objects. I recognize even the hall where Festo is always testing their objects. This time it is a mimic of a flying bat. I think Festo will be up to date with all their researches for robotic movement.
