InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is an open-source community project sponsored by Protocol Labs, an R&D lab for network protocols and former Y Combinator startup, designed to address the deficiencies of the client-server model and HTTP web through a novel p2p file sharing system.IPFS is a complex system that hopes to change how we use the internet,it is a synthesis of several new and existing innovations. It has powerful feature like Version Control Systems, Self-certifying File System etc. IPFS is fundamentally a set of protocols for formatting and communicating about distributed file systems implementations in both Go and JavaScript. Javascript IPFS is a highly ambitious endeavor, Using IPFS javascript version is quite remarkable and understanding the technical wizardry that makes it possible is even more exciting.
