Ally.js is a JS library that can give you very good control over elements that can be focused and which cannot be focused.
If you use the API of this tool, you can prevent elements outside the capital window from starting to receive focus until capital is closed.
In addition you can also find which elements can be focused or tabbable, and identify changes in focus in the shadow DOM.
As you know, accessibility is a design and development problem that is often overlooked, but ally.js can simplify it for you.
