I knew a guy who worked for Blue Raven Solar. The state that solar panels are in today is pretty advanced. The ones made by Blue Raven can generate power even in cloudy, winter conditions and have been sold to the homes of people living in the Pacific Northwest, which is famous for being cloudy and rainy 9 months out of the year. I don't know if this panel is made by the same company or is made to the same standard or not, but know that solar isn't the unreliable power source that it used to be.
