You are familiar with CNC machines. Which is implied in the continuous production of complex parts in the industry. The tools and tool beds are controlled numerical inputs in every axis X Y Z. and the production or machining is automated.
They are big in size and heavier with a great product range.
- Pocket Nc is a 5 axix CNC mill. Whch fits in your desktop.
5 axis is the representation of XYZ Axis movement along with rotational moves of the tool and the work base
The CNC machine we familiar is in the floors of workshops or in the production units with huge investment and larger in size.
This one is Pocket NC... You can call it as PNC if you want.
The 5 Axis freedom of the machine bed along with the head gives you a chance to machine multiple faces without any hassle.
Comparing to Computer Numerical Control machines in the industry, this Pocket Numerical Control machine has all the features in them in working.
You can machine materials with different hardness. The uppermost hardness allowed is Aluminium. You can work with wood, plastic, wax. aluminum and the material having the hardness equal to those specified.
Pros: Fits In desktop, Numerical Control, Five Axis Movement, As same as the CNC machines performance, Portable.
Cons: Can machine up to Aluminium, CAD, CAM softwares needed and they are costly.
