One of the main feature of IGTV is , it plays Instagram videos depending on how your phone is. It simply play it's videos in full screen mode unlike the main Instagram app

One other huge advantage of using IGTV is , it allows Instagram users to watch videos of about 1 hour long. IGTV is very easy to use, it simply starts playing videos from your Instagram users you're already following. It's an idea of how a normal TV works. Once it's tuned onn, it starts working.

You also get options to watch videos from other users you're not following based on popularity, suggestion and interest.

Users watching videos via IGTV are allowed to like, comment or send videos to other users.
There are option to switch channels just like the normal TV. But on IGTV, the video creators are the channels. So it simply means switching from a video uploaded by user A to user B is equivalent to switching channels.

On IGTV videos are automatically paused if channel is switched and also has option to continue watching previous video.
