What is eXeLearning?
eXeLearning is an open source XHTML editor to help you create Educational Resources. This is especially useful for academic teachers to publish web-based learning and teaching materials. Even if you are not proficient in HTML, this program can help you get started easily.
Special Features of eXeLearning
- Available for GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X
- Able to generate complete websites with navigable web pages
- Able to create Questions and Activities for each page
- Create interactive contents for your students
Best Feature
One of the best feature is that you can use the efficiency of the tree diagram to build your course and add subject topic as the course develops.
Digital formats can be formatted as:
- ePub3 for eBooks
- IMS or SCORM
- XLIFF for translation
- LOM, LOM-ES

Thanks for sharing! I worked as an instructional designer for 10 years but quit as I hate working in an office. I've been wondering how I could apply what I learned without paying thousands of dollars for software. I'm going to look into this.
