I think this is something that every major programming languages should have. Even for the experienced ones find these useful for testing out code before putting them into the real implementation.
I'm a web developer and I know how important it is to immediately get feedback on your scripts.
I've developed mainly on Java and I know how difficult it is to wait for your codes to build, specially if your building a large system. However, for smaller projects, I choose JavaScript (NodeJs) because of its faster build time.
Having RunJS can help speed up JS dev time.
