Truth be told, many of us hate ads alot, we don't like been tracked or monitored to that end we love our privacy 100%.
We also are conversant with ads on various android application even most times we find ourselves not doing anything about them and this is something we know of. What about being tracked or spied by the same apps we downloaded from playstore, this many of us know nothing about.
I bring to you, Exodify (some call it the ghostery for the Google Play Store)
Exodify is an open source browser extension, exposing in the Google's Play Store the many trackers hidden in android apps
What Exodify does is that, it analysis the app and gives you a comprehensive report. Its report contains details about detected trackers, permissions and suspicious network traffic. It doesn't end at that it would give a description of every tracker present and it would also be able to detect the presence of tracker code directly in the APK file without requiring decompilation.
Note that exodify makes analysis on Apk files downloaded from the Google play store
It also does network analysis as it executes the application and then dumps the entire network traffic generated by the simulated Android device.
As i said it is an extension (Add on) but only available on chrome and firefox.
Makes use of Exodify today and Say Goodbye to continuous harvesting and leaking of our data.
