Great hunt, Id probably just use the throttle by default and really just use it during hills, i can only see myself using the pedal assist during long gradual inclines, given the impressive 90km range of the battery, if you are just using pedal assist just for long inclines and hills, you'd only need to recharge the battery once a month or so if you are commuting like 20 kms everyday. The fun of a e-bike is just to get through inclines and hills without wearing out the thighs and not reducing speed lol
