Do you like playing old retro games..?
I did a lot when I was young. I had a commodore C64 and later an Amiga. I love these games.
The last years I downloaded several times some emulators and some rom games to play.
Now you can but a floppy disk emulator for your old amiga or PC.
Then you have the possibility to load all your roms on a USB stick and play on your original device!!
You can download open source firmware to create your floppy feeling.

Basic functionality of the GOTEK USB floppy disk emulator was to simulate 999 disks on a single USB key using different image files as disks. These virtual disks could be switched using two front buttons and a 3 digit display. A software was designed to map each image file to a different location (001-999).

Steemhunt is about cool "new" products. Please make sure that your hunt is something recently introduced. If the product is not new, there must be a strong reason to post. For example, the product must be substantially updated or upgraded in a way that has a positive effect on users. Even though the set period of time to define whether it is newly launched is subjective, the moderators may ask if the product is widely considered to be a “new product” (or substantially updated).

I don't really get the utility of this device. All emulators have a rom folder where you can put all your roms, so why ?

It's the other way around. you can build it in your original machine. For example the amiga and then start all roms from the USB stick.
