There is a new robot in the house!
Meet Misty I, the prototype robot from Misty Robotics created to be a fully programmable robot, where he will do whatever your code him to do.
This small fella is fully and easily programmable, being accessible even to kids, as a interesting way for the little ones learn to code.
On the hardware side, the Misty I robot have these features:
- Stable plataform & locomotion - Easy to make him start moving
- Mapping and obstacle avoidance - active sensors to map your space
- Computer Vision - Including Face tracking and face recognition
- Far-Field Microphones & Speaker System - Like an Amazon Echo on wheels
- Visual Display - 4.3" LCD
- Highly Expandable - Not only software, but also hardware
And here comes the best part:
If you can code, you can get one now!
To get a Misty I, you must apply to the developer program, where you fill a form to explain your development experience, and how you would contribute to the development of this little cute robot.
Not guaranteed, but if you are an experienced developer, it might be worth your time.
