This outdoor airbag is designed to reduce collisions between pedestrians and cars. In addition, this object can also absorb the impact force when the car is in contact with other cars. Airbags can reduce the impact energy by as much as 30 percent during a collision.

Although currently there are not many car manufacturers using this safety device, in 2020 many vehicle manufacturers will apply this system to the presence of autonomous cars.
