This operating system for smartwatches is a great alternative that can compete with the Wear OS system.

AsteroidOS already has a stable version available to be installed on a large number of smart watch models:

Asus Zenwatch 1, LG G Watch Urbane, LG G Watch, LG G Watch R, Asus Zenwatch 2, Asus Zenwatch 2 /wren, Asus Zenwatch 3, Sony Smartwatch 3.

  • Alarm clock
  • Calculator
  • Chronometer
  • Diary
  • Timer
  • Application of weather
  • Music player

As an open source operating system, anyone can contribute and collaborate to the project that is currently in active development.

    Pros:

    • Allows the community to contribute so that there is lots of experience shared

    Cons:

    • Until now it has the basic functions but nothing really special

    Pros:

    • Proven and tested stable installation to some well-known smartwatches from brands like Asus.
    • Great operating system for smartwatches which is an open-source one, and the good thing also is the developers of this operating systems allows the users the maximum control of their smartwatches.
    • Purposely built to have multifunctional usage like being an alarm clock or an application for weather forecast.

    Cons:

    • Nothing for this amazing product hunt.
