The Phonemic chart is an android app which help you in improvement of your hearing abilities of english language & also improves your english word's pronunciation.
there are three sections in the app ; vowels, diphthongs & consonents.
• Pure vowels are arranged according to mouth shape (left to right, lips wide / round - top to bottom, jaw closed / open).
• Diphthongs are grouped in rows according to their second sound.
• ‘x’ has two sounds, namely, /ks/ and /gz/. These two sounds are not represented in the standard IPA chart; they are put here for the sake of completeness.
• The letter ‘q’ is always followed by the letter ‘u’. Together, they make the /kw/ sound.

This app is very good for teaching 2nd language learners of English phonology. It has really been of great assistance to me.
My kids now know how to learn their sounds because they are learning more about diction and they're getting better.
It's simple and does one.thing well! Great resourse. Would enjoy seeing the narrative of left right open closed graphically integrated with the chart
