This is awesome! Not only can this display create 3D models but it can also let you interact with those models remotely from anywhere in the world. You can even interact with and move physical objects. Check out the video below to see some of the things this technology is capable of.

inFORM is a Dynamic Shape Display that can render 3D content physically, so users can interact with digital information in a tangible way. inFORM can also interact with the physical world around it, for example moving objects on the table’s surface. Remote participants in a video conference can be displayed physically, allowing for a strong sense of presence and the ability to interact physically at a distance.

Now we can think about humanoid robots and this technology collectively. When the interactive method in this hunt developed into micro-tech, then we are entering into another world for sure, which we cannot differentiate from this real world. Mind blowing technology and achievement, we can expect more exciting inventions soon, this shows the hint to the future happenings. Excellent hunt @mrfringe. Thank you for sharing this, I am really amazed at this.

It's innovative and very interesting product. It can be great fun specially for kids not only to have some good time paying but also to learn some new things in a fun way. Great hunt @mrfringe.

I agree it is very interesting, children will always learn more from interaction. Thanks for checking it out.

I have approved it :)

Thank you very much.

Oooo, this is really an interesting one. But I may only boost it a little bit of my power because someone already boosted it ahead from me.

But I think we still cant feel it right? We can only interact with it, but we cant feel it. I dont know if this is useful, but this is pretty great for research and experiments, most students may be able to learn how this works. - Even for me, I dont know how this works D: .

This is one of the bests hunts I never saw I'm thrilled! ;D o/ I think its future implications are endless! This could be used from a magician to a doctor then the details surely will be perfected to perform medical surgeries remotely who knows!

Great hunt

Modern technology developed day by day and add an amazing thing in our daily life. InFORM is another improvement
This is one of the best collection in the field of 3D. Really is very interesting. It looks like a magician. It can make the kid time enjoyable.
Very nice hunt indeed. @mrfringe thanks for your excellent hunt. Keep it up.

I'm overwhelmed now and wonder what you can use it for in the future, but it looks great and fascinates me. I'm sure there will still be possibilities to use something like this in a meaningful way. The fact that you can move objects without touching them is already a phenomenon. Many thanks for this information, a very trend-setting hunt.

Wow! This is AMAZING. What a great hunt!

I'd be interested to see whether there's any actual feeling triggered in the brain of the user as well.

There are studies which have shown that you actually feel pain (for example) when somebody hits (with a hammer, for example) a prosthetic hand, which is there as a replacement for your own (I hope I've explained that correctly).

So, you see a hand in front of you, which you know is not your own, but because your brain reads it as your hand, it projects feelings based on what happens to that dummy hand.

Now what would be really interesting is if this tech triggered similar (or even any) feelings when you interact with the "virtual" object. Or, does your brain rely on being in the same physical location as the "hand", and it looking realistic.

Fascinating stuff - and what great tech!

Talking about long distance interaction :) It is quite an interesting technology and can be a lot of fun. It can be used for some serious activities as well. Maybe in labs? Where you put some object and move it from distance.

Excellent hunt from you

All are not interested to see regular InFORM, it's new idea.

Really innovative
