Hunter's comment

Coding is an increasingly valuable skill to have in the modern day, and so it can help kids in their future if they get ready for it now in a way that they enjoy.

This toy caterpillar means to do exactly that. Designed for preschool kids, the 9 segments of the Code-a-Pillar can be rearranged to tell it how to move - left, right, forward and even wait. The big eyes make it more fun with blinking and sounds for a more interactive experience. Kids can rearrange the segments to reprogram the caterpillar as it moves to its final destination.

Kids can make more challenging obstacle courses, program the caterpillar to try to get past them, and learn various useful skills along the way - problem solving, reasoning, fine motor skills, and of course basic coding then debugging (segments light up when they activate!) - not bad for a five year old!

I am always happy when I see Tools that enable Children learn about Technology early.

It helps with discovering the different talents of Kids early and makes it easier to steer their lives in the right direction.

Hunt On

Great hunt @motordrive!

This is a nice project to attract kids to programming. Programming will surely have it's place in the future as one of the important and well paid jobs, instead of normal toys you can always get one of these to let your children play with.

I think this type of toys are just epic. The earlier they get introduced to the programming world, the biggest are the chances that they will be good in the future. Combining this toy with school classes that teach programming in a fun way to 5th-8th graders like in my country and, those kids have huge chances of becoming great programmers.

Keep on hunting.*

Wow...! Great Hunt!

surely this tool is very useful to train children so that will have experience in the future. Other than that this tool also makes children like to play the game, so that they will become more familiar with it.

Keep up your great hunt👍

Honestly i must say that when i see things that can help little ones knowledge grow well in a certain area or field I’m always happy, because it prepares them for the future in someway. Even without saying much ones this tools can be provided for the children they tend to grab things easily. GREAT HUNT
