It is very easy to open a new tab in your browser, type "S" and it will show you Steemit and Steemd in the selection, if these are your most opened sites. Select any one to open and other one in another new tab.
But ...
This could be more easy and more faster if you install this extensison.
After installation, just click on its button and it will switch you from "Steemit to Steemd" or "Steemd to Steemit" in milliseconds.

I wish we could have an extension for "SteemHunt and Steemit" and for "SteemHunt and Steemd"

A web site that is very helpful for us who use Steemit. I've been using it since I first joined. Submission to us as a plug-in is a huge step.
Excellent hunting @ mobi72, although it seems somewhat silly this extension is very useful especially for those who are starting in Steemit. Personally, it happened to me that when I came here I would publish and comment a lot so my bandwidth would run out very fast and I always had to be exchanging places to know how much I had. With this extension all that could have been easier.
Exactly, you are absolutely right, this extension is more useful for newcomers.
But fortunately there are some other things to consider as well. Many new users are signing up with Steemit every day and for sure, this will gonna end almost never. Despite the fact that this is also useful for experienced users, as who doesn't want to process things a little bit fast and then a little bit more faster, we should sometimes thinks as a newbie because not everyone, who is accessing Steem blockchain, is a programmer/expert or has vast knowledge/expertise about/for this marvelous platform.
