We all know that contaminated water can bring so many diseases and health issues like cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, and polio.
With the on-going rise of artificial intelligence, researchers were able to build a real-time AI to combat the diseases mentioned above. It works real-time so contamination is detected immediately thus immediate cleaning of the water also.
This Clean Water AI is a product developed as an entry to the Microsoft Cloud AI Research Challenge which won the fourth place. The researcher plans to continue his research to have the device detect more types of bacteria in water.

It could save a lot of life and prevent a human from drinking not clean water. Also, it is very useful in a country where the infrastructure for water treatment is not as advanced

Quite an interest invention that will solve one of the biggest problem of humanity, the problem of potable drinking water. Either naturally or anthropogenically, some parts of the world do not have potable water either due to pathogen or chemical contaminants. This product will serve to tackle the former. Nice technology and a good hunt.
The beauty of it is that it is small device that can run with a computer. You need not bring a whole laboratory to test water contaminants.

We have to save water and use is wisely, but we also have to be careful which kind of water we consume. I think that sometimes it is hard to tell by just looking and this new technology will be very useful to prevent deseases and deaths.
It is indeed hard to tell if water is safe or not just by looking at it. This device will be very useful because it gives the result real-time. There is no need to wait for laboratory testing and results.
with this type of artificial intelligence, researchers could build this AI, which makes it different from the rest is able to detect in real time the diseases that occur in contaminated waters and fight them immediately, which makes the problem fight in time and do the immediate cleaning of the water and prevent the spread of diseases, which I think is pretty cool. will certainly help many people, great hunt
Yes, result is presented real-time so remediation can also be done immediately. There is no more time consuming and laboratory tests and waiting for results.
