Good to see new innovation in wind power, and this appears to make it more accessible and available to a wider market, which could very well increase take-up.

I like too, that they've considered birds & bats in their design (whether it was at the front of the minds, or was an after-thought doesn't matter - all good for the wildlife.

I'm not sure how much power this generates, so how cost-effective it would prove to be, but it's certainly something to think about. I live in a fairly exposed place, so as we do get quite a lot of wind, this might be a good buy.
