I love the idea of this.

What a great way for the homeowner to keep an eye on their weight - every time you come into your house (no more remembering to use the bathroom scales).

And for your guests...well, some will love it, others will hate it, I'm sure. I'd imagine a fair few visitors will ring the bell, or knock on the door, then step backwards off the welcome mat because a) they don't want to see their own weight, and [more likely] b) they certainly don't want YOU seeing it.
