The Android version of Envision is an intelligent and multidisciplinary recognition tool.It helps visually impaired people to better see what is around them and live more independently.
With Envision, they can:
- shopping in supermarkets
- catch a bus and use public transport
- to find a friend or to recognize him
- to read menu books in restaurants
- to find things
and many others on their own.
Recognise Faces, Objects, Scenes
Envision's General Recognition offers a suite of visual recognition tools that make the world more accessible to the users.
Describe Scene
An easy way to get description of what is around you or images you come across.
Detect Colors.
It can recognise more than 900 unique colors, which is handy when you need to pick out just the right shirt.
Scan Barcodes.
An intuitive way to guide you to scan products and have them recognised.
Teach Faces and Objects.
They can then be recognised and included in the description of a scene.

Looks a great app to be used in real life. As you mentioned we can use itbin supermarkets, bus etc is a real life beneficial thing. Thanks for sharing

great. So looks like to recognize something we need firstly to take a picture of it. I guess in some really rare cases it might look a little bit strange to the surrounding people. But who honestly cares about it (except for some military-related people). I hope that I'll never need this app. But it definitely very useful for visually impaired. thanks )
