I've seen UAVs run out of their battery at the final few meters ad fall down infront of the owners and break apart. A parachute can help a lot in such a situation and two is even safer than one. It's basically like having an insurance plan for your drone.

Wow, what an amazing find, flying a drone only have a danger of falling down and crashing, but with the help of parachute this could be prohibited.
