Its just insane to watch what can this robot actually do. But don't get it twisted, it has a better purpose than serving us coffee and passing the sugar. Baxter is a working "man", just like we. Maybe he even got the job you got laid off :)

many times I have said the robots someday they will supplant us I have seen the advance of the technology in so few years that I was amazed and it is not for less

This robot is great, as it says @ francisco2351, someday we will be replaced by robots, not quite but I imagine it will be in a working area, we are in full technological advance and every day there are surprising things such as this robot that can simply replace an innkeeper or a housewife. Okay. I really like technology especially robots. They are simply amazing. But, having said that. I also get a bit nervous, You know, Terminator and the words "I'll Be Back" lol ... I have seen some amazing inventions and I wonder how smart can AI get? Artificial Intelligence is advancing real quick these days, right? But still, a very nice hunt @kid4life.

wow this robot is really cool but one thing that comes in my mind is the price of this robot. since this robot has advanced capabilities. this robot wont come with cheap price
