Right, this one's inspired by some of the recent hunts from @dayleeo, focus being on sustainability. Smog free project is one such initiative by Daan Roosgaarde. It includes concepts such smog free tower, smog free bike and smog free ring.
Smog collected by smog free towers is compressed and turned into these beautiful rings. The process of smog collecting uses a patented clean technology - positive ionisation technology - to produce smog free air in public spaces. 30,000 m3 air is cleaned an hour and buying a ring means donating 1000 cubic meter of clean air.
The ring can be ordered on the site and has found a place in many weddings worldwide. Do think about it when buying your next jewellery and definitely check it out.

A product with a great idea. Positive ionization technology is used. It is necessary to choose such environmentally friendly products while taking jewelry. Thanks to Smog brand for this product. I have a new knowledge.
Yup, this help buy something nice that is actually good for the world as opposed to diamonds. Even if one ignores the comparison, this is ensuring clean air to some part of the world and sustainability of the planet in the long run.

The idea of an air cleaning accessory is something I can get behind on. But I'm not sure if I want this for a ring. It might be a good idea for other types of accessories, like a bracelet charm or maybe cufflinks. It's just too conspicuous and not pretty, at all for a ring like that.
Well it doesn't have to be a wedding ring, and i agree, it will be better as bracelet charms or ear rings or cufflinks.
This is really a wonderful initiative, because generating something so nice about smog is just great. The best thing is that by acquiring this ring in a certain way we will be collaborating to an ecological initiative that seeks to change the world.
Yeah, the project itself has won numerous awards for how ground-breaking it is, and many emerging market economies such as India and China have adopted this.
