Eliodomestico is a newly develope innovation
It is a solar water distiller for households. It is designed to function without the use of filters or electricity. The device is made from burnt clay and tin metal. It can be produced by a local craftsman. The body is made of two earthen ware parts. The evaporator (black boiler) and the condenser. The freshwater bowl for collecting the water is made of clay. Eliodomestico is design in such a way that the means of transportating can be carrying it on one's head.
The choice of materials, shape and colors also relies on technical reasons, such as the thermal insulation, ventilation, heat resistance, absorption or exchange.
Eliodomestico is a simple device which delivers a basic quantity of clean drinking water. It is most suitable for areas where salt or brackish water is prevalent as ground and/or surface water.
It water filtration takes up to 10 liters per day per square meter of surface.

This is a good invention from brilliant brains. A solar water distiller would be a good and great idea for Africans because of thier sun. Nice hunt!
Nice find! I've always wondered if there was an easy way out there to get water - just evaporate and capture it, right? And yeah, this device looks like it accomplishes that well while also giving a good amount of water each day, in addition to being manufacturable by local craftsmen which I guess helps the local economy. The design is thoughtful too, I wouldn't have necessarily planned for making it carryable on my head but that can be useful
The design is very sweet. It is a solar powered water dispenser made of portable and kilden. Up to ten liters per day of work capacity is sufficient. Thanks for the different product

Hi @ k-banti, this is for many mans of vital importance.
People who have to struggle for potable water will embrace this product.
Most importantly, production can end up in a local craft workshop and distillation efficiency will be, as a much also more expensive electrical (gas) product.
Distillation using the sun's energy (which there is so abundant there) is a genius idea.
Increaseing the capacity by simply increasing the "device for distillate" dimension. Energy has enough.
Transmission on the head is also "original".

It is so easy to use it, and the capacity for the water is 5Liters, and for this price this is considered as a cheap product, I like its aim.
