There are so many times that I've missed important events because I had no one to go with me.
But with matenic, you can find a partner for any event, concert, gallery opening, etc.

hmmmm is this more like hooking up with someone and then dine out together... it is a nice initiative but i feel going to an event with someone u don't know can also make u feel uncomfortable.. depends on who tho
