Grammark
It is an open source writing aide which helps you check grammar and spelling errors in your text. This will likely help you improve your writing style and grammar. It also teaches you to self edit your works. No fees are collected to access its services.
Currently, there are 7 areas that was considered in the program:
- Passive Voice
- Wordiness
- Sentence length
- Transition
- Academic Style
- Nominalizations
- Grammar

How does it works?
You need to paste and submit your text on the box provided in Grammark. A summary of errors is then provided. At the same time, recommendation is provided so that you can improve your text.
Advantage
- You can use the platform for free.
- It has 7,060 grammar rules excluding algorithm for passive voice and analyzing sentence
- It provides recommendation for improvement of your text.
Disadvantage
- It does not automatically corrects grammatical errors of your text
Who develop the platform?
It was develop by Mark Fullmer, a software developer who has an MA in English from Boston College.

PROS :
• It is free, no subscription needed.
• It helps improve your writing style and grammar as it corrects grammar and spellings.
• It is very useful especially on administrative tasks which requires a lot of business writings.
CONS :
• It does not correct grammatical errors automatically.
Personally, I love this as I'm an online content creator..
