Codewars is a place to sharpen your programming skills in a fun way. With codewars, mastery of a specific programming language (e.g. JAVA, Python, C++) is achieve through real code challenges. Also, it has a wide array of programming language to mastery with.
Furthermore, you can challenge yourself with katawhich is created by the community. In codewars, your skills will surely be tested through solving kata through your coding. Like gaming platforms, codewars also gives ranks to its users to determine the skill set and level of mastery in a certain programming language. So, as ranks go up, there are more difficult coding challenges awaits.
Since it is also a community, you can also collaborate with different authors and programmers to discuss kata and your best practices. In this way, you hone and acquire more skill set and techniques. Aside from all of that, you can also create your own kata or coding challenge for other programmers.

Great hunt @juecoree! Gamify a learning experience - the best way to learn. I did my GRE prep using a word quizzing tool and learning something becomes super easy and more enjoyable once its a game.
