Each digit is powered with a motor that drives a conveyor belt with small knobs arranged in patterns that affects a mechanism that pushes or retracts the cubes.(The 10-hour digit is simpler since it only needs to show the digit 1 or no digit at all)

This is a different kind of watch that I bet you’ll like. This watch is made of matrix cube which pushes out in other to display the time. With a weight of 8 kilogram, a width of 82 cm and a height of 14 inches, this watch can easily fit on a table or shelf.
