When we look at the name, this must have something to do with Vim editor. Vimium is an extension of Google Chrome that provides keyboard shortcuts to help you make browsing easier.
Like using Vim, you can control the browser that you use like you use Vim editor, this is really the choice of hackers, or maybe people who want to look cool.
