EDAN is a project that has been developed for a couple of years and has finally launched several prototypes, it is a robotic arm that provides total and absolute assistance to people with physical disabilities in their extremities.
This robotic arm is controlled by the user through a neuronal interface or through a muscular control that the person can manage easily and smoothly as his own arm; This is possible thanks to the fact that this robotic arm has a built-in AI system with learning that little by little will be learning the basic orders to make them more and more fluid and autonomous.
One of the most incredible things about this robotic arm is that it can be placed on any type of wheelchair so that the person with a disability can carry it and always have it with him.
The EDAN robot has 28 degrees of freedom and payload of 120kg.

This is undoubtedly an excellent gadget for the handicapped because it will allow them to recover some mobility in a very practical way through a robotic arm that will progressively learn their commands and execute them better each time.
