Sometimes apps don’t come simpler as they come and that’s part of their beauty.
The Morning Reader is one of those simple, single focus apps and an absolute awesome addition to anyone’s reading — at least if you’re in it for tech and/or blockchain news.
Awesomely curated news, updated at a manageable pace. Find the most important tech and blockchain content published every day with ease.
And if you don’t even have time to check regularly during the day, just find 5 articles every morning in your inbox (morning West Coast USA).
It’s like getting an email with the five best hunts of the previous day but then for tech news. No fluff, no drivel... just 5 links.
Simple is beautiful.

Truly simple and filtered content, I am going to use it on a daily basis. Though there are no ads now, I guess, they are going to add ads , because they are asking to add Morning Reader to our ad blocker's whitelist. They are saying, they will host safe, clean ads, but then if its going to be too much, then it will be boring.
Haven’t seen any ads so far.
Given their ultra-minimalist design I’m going to take a stab and say that add will be truly unobtrusive. Probably Ads by The Deck. Whenever they integrate those... if ever.
PS: But I have not seen an anti adblocker yet myself.
I used DIgg for a while but found that after a while the content they curated for me was irrelevant. I've also used Google news and one other app whose name eludes me, but never found something that is well tailored to me. This looks like it could be a possible alternate. Any ads that they ram down your throat?
Zite is very missed. While it had an absolute filter bubble effect, it was great at finding relevant content also from lesser known sources. Depending on the niche, pocket may work.
This one comes closest to good old Techmeme in topical quality, but less in volume. The Morning Reader is only good if you want a bird’s eye overview of the main news events. Haven’t seen any ad yet or anti-adblocker notice for that matter.
The new Digg was good in its first two years. Has more ads but Inside, which Jason Calacanis is co-founder/investor of, is solid in finding good quality too.

Well, I loved the idea of Morning reader means now no hustle for news I can see top technology stories in a simple way. It will provide us with all updates, news of tech and blockchain news.
yea I do agree indeed it's a cool app for news lovers :) and yea, of course, it would be amazing for hunters too at least we can see top stories related tech :)....

Anyways, I hope in this busy word, we have no enough time to read more news. So this is a hood platform to update ourself with this modern era.

OK, you almost got me. I thought this is going to be about an application that source for customized news from the web and then read them out as you lunge into your morning routines. That said, I do not think what you got here is bad either. Enjoy
Most systems have built-in screenreaders which can achieve that. It’s how visually impaired people read the internet.
Use it on pocket or flipboard if that floats your boat.
Wow cool looking app and i really like it cause it designed well with minimal distractions on top of that it's absolutely free, it monitors mostly tech and blockchain news which i like to read these days. thanks for telling us about this app. Excellent Hunt
