Wheel Speed Sensors is very good in detect the rotatinal speed of every round of wheel and transfer this
information to the ABS control unit. When ABS detects change in speed in any wheels its automatically lock the wheel, it swiftly
intervenes by modulating the braking pressure of each wheel individually. This prevents guarantees safe braking and allowing driver
to control of the vehicle.
The ABS sensors Not just porvide information to its system but also for gearbox, satellite navigation systems Electronic Stability Program system which likewise make use of it.
Due to constent delevelopment of this sensor some changes are done today in its designs size and robsutness requirements.
This sensor divied into 2 major groups:
Passive sensors. For toothed wheels.
Inductive ABS.
Active sensors. For wheels with magnetic coding/toothed wheels.
