We all like to use youtube and it's account services like having favorite videos, history records of our watched videos or following channels of our favorite youtubers. For all these things we need a google account. Gettting rid of big data companies today is crucial to protect our privacy. Google is one of the biggest one in that manner.
But with this awesome app called Newpipe, we can use youtube without a registration and also have those services as if we have an account and plus some wonderful advantages. With Newpipe we can have a history, favorites archive, able to follow channels, option to download a video and my favorite is for mobile devices running the video in the backround feature is priceless. We can also stream the videos in an another video player that we prefer.
And after all the app is Open Source. So no ads and no any tricks or traps while giving Us all these marvelous functionalities.

You are right. Running videos in background is a priceless feature. It's functionalities are amazing
Indeed especially If you use an older version of android. I didnt mention it but it also supports live streams. Its definitely worth to try. But the biggest advantage is you dont have to use your gmail account which every step you take on youtube will be recorded. we need privacy. Thanks for the comment.

Awesome app, youtube is a must nowadays even at home i use youtube for DIY stuff. Having a privacy towards your google account is critical in this dangerous world of scammers and stolen identity. Thks for sharing. Loving this app . Cheers @fako
