I can only imagine the day when this is as natural as navigating using a mobile phone or writing email. Great hunt. Good to know about such innovations.
Thats a cool collaborative way on also teaching students outside your room. Maybe this would be also useful for international meetings. Might be also useful for the Steem blockchain where all moderators and developers collaborate and brainstorm topics that are important.
YOU ARE VERIFIED.
remember to hunt really your best finds on the web, we want the site to be fully of quality awesome products that people will love!
some power tips for the next hunt.. .
I thought this is just like any other VR app but then I read collaboration. This is great when doing meetings even when you are not together physically. You can present your design or idea to other users and can get their opinion immediately. Cool hunt!
I'm not a big fan of "brainstorming" as a way of generating ideas (unless it's in very small teams, of 2 or 3), but as a collaborative tool, this is very interesting.
Being able to remotely collaborate in VR is very attractive, and something a lot of people would be interested in.
But WTF were they thinking of adding beach and desert locations to the software? Not the most ideal places to collaborate - unless it's about what you'll do on holiday next year. These locations are just a distraction - why not add beautiful models in swimsuits too?
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.
And the fact the video even shows you can explore these locations? Why would you want to? This is collaboration software, isn't it? There are VR programs dedicated to exploring cool locations - this doesn't need to add that, at all.
But as far as what it's supposed to be for - collaboration, yes, I'd love to try this out. So, great hunting :)
Good idea to do your presentation in VR on whiteboard, especially the island background (it's always better than a grey meeting room - the official color is my company :-) ). You have to have the HTC Vive to use Think Space and only 7$, good deal if you have this device.
Just one question, can you export your presentation done in VR in other app (like PowerPoint for example) ?.
Thanks for sharing it @ememovic
The application is simple but very useful, graphically is regular, are not advanced graphics so you can run this application on cards inferior to the Nvidia GTX 970, although the bad thing is that the application is only compatible with HTC VIVE device, so that It is very limited, since there are many cheaper VR devices on the market and equally efficient.
Virtual Reality is a great technology and when we use it in perfect way intelligently then we find Think Space
I am experiencing a best app of my life in which VR ia involved. Great search, incredible presentation and well deserved in top place. Weldone @ememovic, keep it up.
