Kanova is another useful 3D software in the Virtual Reality ecosystem. It is made by Foundry, which has a pretty good pedigree in the world of 3D graphics.
The idea behind Kanova is basically for 3D sculpting in Virtual Reality. It is a perfectly full functioning easy-to-use desktop application and the software is completely free cos what they're doing now is early access, which simply means that there's still plenty room for improvements. It's still evolving and I can't wait to see lots of pretty cool updates.
Software features:
- Editing scenes using Kanova in desktop mode and within the VR environment
- Selecting different modelling tools
- Creating multiple layers
- Sculpting and painting in colour
- Exporting to Sketchfab format

The speed at which the technology evolves really amazes me.

This is a great tool for sculptors. The zoom in/zoom out feature allows you to be very precise.

This is a great and innovative use case for VR. Not only for the artists, sculpting segment, but even in eg construction designing, sculpting techniques can be an asset to add value to the design. Since it is currently freeware, I don't see a negative point; Just download it and try it out.
This looks like pretty cool software. VR is opening up a new gateway to ideas and applications that we've never seen. In the next 5 - 10 years I think VR will re-sculpt (pun intended) the way we look at modern design
VR is the future!! I super love this hunt because it will make us experience the best tool for creating 3D structures. Why not make your life easier and comfortable?
man, i really wish i had the mental clarity to learn a new tool that i could get excited about, i know people are in much demand for this kinda thing.
I think this application is amazing. This application is also very easy to use compared to other 3D graphics applications. the features are also very good can help facilitate making objects that are better and professional.
