Saros Desalinasi buoy is designed for a project to clean sea water. Desalination is the process of purifying sea water from minerals and salt. Seawater as we know it is not suitable for human consumption. And Saros comes to solved the problems. Eliminate the scarcity of drinking water around the world, expand the water sources, that's eco-friendly, and especially give the chances for peoples at the poverty line can get the fresh water with affordable cost.
Saros does not use electricity or fossil fuels in the process of desalination, but by utilizing ocean wave energy.

The salinity of ocean is great and I think no other solution unless highly concentrated NaCl has more salinity than ocean. So it would be a great achievement to transform it to fresh water though you only get small portion of water on it.

The best solution is often times the most simple one. Using the power of ocean waves as a power source to power the process of desalination is a brilliant solution. It's definitely worth supporting the further development and refinement of this technology.
