Sailbuoy is an unmanned cruise robot innovation from a Norwegian company, Offshore Sensing. Design for surface collection sea data for long duration until several months . Use the Iridium satellite system to process navigation instructions and provide tracking feedback with relevant data. Using wind power to encourage sailing and solar panels to maintain the source of electricity.
The concept of this sailboat robot has been proven by remote robotics sailing tests using wind power.
