The Eagle 360 Urban is an amazing future concept of a tire.
So what are the differences between a tire produced today and Goodyear's vision for the future?
Well the first thing that stands out is its spherical shape.
Secondly the tires won't be mechanically attached to the car via a suspension but are going to be suspended from the car by magnetic fields. That means the tires can be rotated in either direction either simultaneously or separately to even out treadwear or drive and park sideways.
Bioskin
The bioskin of the tire is intelligent. The sensors in the bioskin add "dimples" for wet weather and smooth the tread in dry conditions.

that's actually really incredible, such smart thinking, i really like the notion of a ball, the fact that you can go in all directions -- parking would be a DREAM! :)

Wow, I watched the YouTube video from beginning to end, but I didn't know the time went by. In fact, if the tires are old, they can move in any direction and the cars will be more stable. It's a concept, but thanks for introducing a good product.

I was I formed that the posting guidelines have changed and thus concepts or renderings that aren’t in physical form yet or necessarily planned to be must be unverified.

The concept product must be more than a render.
For example, if someone just posts a concept drawing that has never been in physically rendered/officially launched on public, we can't accept them because they are not a "product" level at all."
I am not sure, but I am assuming the vote will not be removed, however the post may be hidden from Steemhunt under the supervision and choice of the guardians.

This looks very futuristic. And impressive. Suspended with magnetic fields. This will mean less friction and better efiecencie.
WoW. Here comes the future. This is amazing. What a wonderful idea but I wonder if it will make driving safer or more dangerous because now you can go in multiple directions like sideways and probably even at an angle. Sounds exciting but also a little scary... LoL. Thanks for the hunt @direwolf.
Wow, this is a product that I'm anxious for it to become a reality because it will definitely represent a tremendous advance in terms of the mobility of the vehicles of the future. Having a spherical shape and being linked to a vehicle via magnetic will allow vehicles that potentially implement this type of tires have incredible benefits increasing mobility and suspension.

These tires are actually not bad & will definitely make parking lot easier for women (joke)
But in my vision of future present moments, I feel that evolution (revolution) of traffic will begin when cars stop having tires
So it this good advancement when opposed to classic tires? Yes. Is this gonna shape the future of transportation? I don't think so
